The exhibition at Forum Stadtpark marks the conclusion of the project "NORMAL x 4 - Direct Urbanism/ Graz 2020" by transparadiso (Barbara Holub/Paul Rajakovics) as part of the Graz Culture Year 2020/ 2021 and transports the experiences of the urban interventions in four districts on the outskirts of Graz back to the center and into the art context. The exhibition presents objects, specially developed tools, methods and diverse materials of the four artistic-urban interventions, which were realized in cooperation with institutions and in participation with residents from spring 2020 to summer 2021 in Andritz, Waltendorf, Liebenau and Wetzelsdorf to propagate collective qualities for the community and the appropriation of public spaces beyond consumption. The concrete findings of the projects will be further discussed with the City of Graz, striving for being implemented – for furthering a socially engaged urban development in Graz. |
